  3. Jan 27,  · Holy cow is right. And, if you are listening to Midnight Blue on a vinyl rig and really want to be blown away, get a copy Music Matter's newer /3rpm release of the title. I think that generally applies to ALL re-issue Jazz Lp's vs. original Jazz pressings. BTW, not so much with classical LP's, as they simply weren't played that much in.

  5. Charles Burrell & Sons were builders of steam traction engines, agricultural machinery, steam lorries and steam tram engines. The company were based in Thetford, Norfolk and operated from the St Nicholas works on Minstergate and St Nicholas Street, some of which survives today.. At their height they employed over people and were the largest employer within the town.

  7. Second volume of the two LP set that compiled JJ's bop trombone sides for Blue Note. Great stuff, and arguably among some of his best work. The arrangements are tight, and JJ's in the company of great rhythm players like Kenny Clarke, Horace Silver, and Paul Chambers, who make the sessions really LP, Vinyl record album.
  8. Yes! Rock Steady is missing and that’s a shame but virtually all of their best tunes are here and I must say this album sounds amazing. If you’re looking for a good best of compilation, to avoid having to purchase 4 of their albums, then this album is the way to go! I had this on c.d. in the 90’s but the vinyl version sounds much much better!/5().
